Time to Change
Lamb Films produced a three month video participation element between six youth organisations in the Crumlin and Ardoyne Neighbourhood Renewal areas of North Belfast.

Supported by the Office of the First Minister and Deputy First Minister and the Ardoyne Youth Providers Forum. Discussions unfold between a variety of participants who talk through some of the issues and problems affecting their lives, January to March 2012.
The Time to Change programme was developed by Ardoyne Youth Providers Forum in partnership with six youth organisations in the Crumlin & Ardoyne Neighbourhood Renewal area of North Belfast.
The communities in these areas have the highest density of interfaces across the whole of Northern Ireland and subsequently have often become synonymous with incidents which are motivated by sectarian divisions. The Time to Change programme has been designed to enable young people aged 14–18 to develop positive relationships, provide opportunities to integrate into community activity and create future community leaders.
DVD
The participating groups who have taken part in Time to Change and whose young people are represented in the DVD are:
- Ardoyne Youth Club
- Marrowbone Youth Club
- Westland Community Group
- Cliftonville Community Centre
- Cliftonville Community Regeneration Forum / Let Youth Lead Project
- Lower Oldpark Community Association
The DVD provides a short documentary of the processes involving the young people – including their participation at team building and training events, and leading up to the Young People’s Conference addressing Regeneration issues – held on 28 March 2012. The Conference was designed, organised, Chaired and addressed by the young people reflected in the DVD.
This work would not have been possible without the enthusiasm and commitment of the young people who participated and the generous support of the Office of the First Minister and Deputy First Minister via the North Belfast Strategic Good Relations Programme.
